About
Drawing Matter explores the role of drawing in architectural thought and practice, through publications, exhibitions, and workshops for students and practitioners. Central to our activities is the Drawing Matter Collection of many thousands of architectural and design drawings from across the world, from the Renaissance to the present day.
In October 2024, Drawing Matter moved its activities and collection from Shatwell Farm to Smart’s Place, London. We continue to encourage visitors to come by appointment, and to examine the drawings in person.
